I have been craving comfort food lately and this cheese lasagna completely fit the bill! It is super cheesy, easy and completely within budget. I get about 9 servings under $2 dollars a piece which makes it so easy for me to eat leftovers throughout the week! It also freezes super well, so if you get tired of being Garfield for the week you can always put some of it away for the future!
Heat Olive Oil in a sauce pan. Toss in Garlic and sauté for a minute or two.
Pour jar of sauce into Sauce Pan and add Italian Seasoning. Stir and let simmer on stove top. Preheat oven to 350!
While sauce is cooking, mix ricotta with eggs and parmesan cheese in a bowl.
Using a 9x13" Casserole dish, put a thin layer of sauce on the bottom.
Add a layer of noodles.
Add a thick layer of cheese. Add a thick layer of sauce.
Add another layer of noodles, cheese, and sauce.
If you have enough supplies and want to get crazy you can add another layer. Or just sprinkle Mozzarella cheese on top and make sure its all covered.
Cover with foil and stick in the oven for 45 minutes. I usually take off the foil for the last few minutes to get that cheese all bubbly and delicious.
Enjoy!
